EuroShop – the world’s leading retail trade fair

We offer you survey of the world’s main retail trade fair, which had just ended on the 20th of February. EuroShop has been organized by Messe Dusseldorf since 1966, traditionally in Dusseldorf Congress Center (Germany). What makes EuroShop even more exclusive is that it takes place in a 3 year period. Total net space in 2014 was more than 116 000 sq. m. Compared with EuroShop 2011, Russian exhibitors’ growth of space was 150% (while Chinese companies’ space grew only 41%). Total number of exhibitors in 2014 was 2226 companies (from 57 countries). Including 3 visitors on behalf of Das Werk, total number of visitors was 109 000 (from 110 countries). 73% of visitors had decision-making powers.

Exhibition services specialists are traditionally attracted to a corresponding EuroShop segment called EuroExpo (Exhibition Stand Construction, Design and Event). Das Werk delegation indeed enjoyed visiting 3 halls of EuroExpo. But as long as Das Werk is a marketing integrator, which ambitions include exhibition construction but continue far beyond, we also visited other halls and paid attention to other segments: EuroConcept — Shop Fitting, Architecture & Store Design, Lighting, Refrigeration Furniture and Cooling Systems; EuroSales — Visual Marketing and Merchandising, POS-Marketing; EuroCIS — Retail Technology. Das Werk integrates progressive retail technologies to prove its success in business.
